Where is the airbag module on a
On most Ferrari models the SRS ECU sits under the centre tunnel, often behind dense interior trim. Exact brackets vary by year and body style, so use the workshop manual for torque and trim clips when available. Look for a metal or plastic housing with multi-pin connectors - often with yellow SRS wiring.
Step-by-step removal
- Battery disconnect - Isolate the negative terminal and wait at least 15 minutes.
- Trim access - Remove the centre console or lower dash panels needed to see the module.
- Photograph labels - Capture the airbag part number, Maker marks, and any Memory chip ID.
- Unplug connectors - Release locks on SRS plugs; do not pull on wires.
- Unbolt and remove - Take the ECU to the bench for reading.

Ferrari SRS work is low-volume and high-risk - confirm Memory chip and exact byte size; never guess from a similar-looking supercar module.
